Making Wooden Canvas Wedges into Jewellery

I had been thinking og possible ways to use these wooden Canvas wedges for some time now. Usually, there a few left behind taking up in the art room after a canvas purchase.

Me and my 4 year old niece came up with a couple ideas. One being pendants and the other possibly earrings.

These two were soack and carved before they were painted.

After we decorated the pieces, I spent some time sanding them into organic shapes. No real intention, just playing around with possible shapes.

Pictured above is one pendant and a set of earrings. My niece painted the pendant and I the earrings.

We were pretty chuffed with the result of this exploration. Keep in mind also, these wedges can be bought separately, and are quite cheap!

Keep your eyes peeled for more creations as they pop up in my shop.

Keep on making!
